Lee T. Zane, M.D.
Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer
Lee T. Zane, M.D., M.A.S. , has served as our Senior Vice President, Clinical Development and Chief Medical Officer since October 2013, after serving as Vice President, Clinical Development and Interim Chief Medical Officer from January 2012 to October 2013; Vice President, Clinical Development from August 2008 to January 2012; and Medical Director from January 2008 to August 2008. From July 2003 to December 2007, he was Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he also served as the Director of both the Mt. Zion Dermatology Clinical Research Unit and the Acne Specialty Practice. Dr. Zane received a B.A. from Colgate University, an M.D. from Stanford University, and a Master of Advanced Study (M.A.S.) in Clinical Research degree from UCSF. Dr. Zane is a board-certified dermatologist and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology and Epidemiology and Biostatistics at UCSF.
