ANACOR TO PRESENT AT J.P. MORGAN HEALTHCARE CONFERENCE

Palo Alto, Calif. - January 11, 2010 - Anacor Pharmaceuticals announced today that David Perry, Chief Executive Officer, will provide a company overview at the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference at 1:30p.m. PT on Thursday, January 14, 2010 in San Francisco, CA.
