ANACOR TO DETAIL CHEMISTRY BEHIND LEAD COMPOUNDS
-- Company Researchers to Present Data on Discovery of AN2690, AN0128 at American Chemical
Society Meeting --
Palo Alto, CA and San Francisco - Sept. 12, 2006 - Anacor Pharmaceuticals, a privately held pharmaceutical
company, today announced it will make two presentations at the American Chemical Society National Meeting & Exposition
this week in San Francisco. Researchers will make an oral presentation on the chemistry and discovery of AN2690, Anacor's
topical antifungal drug candidate being developed for onychomycosis, a fungal infection of the toenail and nail bed, as
well as a poster presentation on the discovery of AN0128, Anacor's treatment for atopic dermatitis.
The conference is being held at the Moscone Center.
